Today’s Tip Comes from our “Advanced Master Class.” Tom is getting ready to create a beautiful floral arrangement. First, he will explain why and how he chose the placement of the vase.
Every Great Artist Used These Techniques
Things to Consider:
- Magic White is on the canvas.
- He soaks his brush in “Alexander Magic Clear.”
- Tom uses Alizarin Crimson because red is the most friendly color and is used in just about everything.
- It is ok to use tools like T Squares and rulers to make sure your composition is accurate
Tom can lay out his compositions without using a straight edge just because he has painted so long. However, even today he will use them when accuracy is extremely important.
