 Floyd
Hook Jr. paints and teaches with an attitude of color in all
mediums. He has been an asset to the Alexander Art
company since 1987 when he received his certification. Today
you will find Floyd gathering a crowd at Trade shows and
Painting workshops around the US.
Floyds
goal to keep classes fresh and interesting leads him to
pursue new techniques by attending continuing education and
studying with Master Artists like Lowell Spears, Buck
Paulson, Robert Warren and Frank Clarke.
Floyd
will be joining us at the 2006 Craft and Hobby Association
(CHA) show in Las Vegas this year instructing
watercolor painting for guests of the show...

you have cruised recently you may have seen this
fun-loving, flamboyant artist on board teaching
"Frank Clarke's Simply Painting Method" of
watercolor painting. Where in the world is Norma
Rachlin! Have
paint/brush will travel !I was asked to do the
"world cruise" on the QE2 - I had planned to
rest up before hand but no, a call came with just a
shade of panic. "Norma, can you- will you please
do the Baltic cruise before hand. So Alexander
painters I'm off and away and loving every minute -
"teaching the passengers to paint - I promise!
They do paint and enjoy every minute- (I make sure!)

artist/instructor, having received his first teaching
credentials from the William Alexander Corporation
in January 1993. Since that time he has also garnered
certification status from other companies in the industry.
